With most dental insurance you pay your dentist for any treatment received and then claim money back from your insurer. Dental insurance can cover routine treatment, such as check-ups and dental X-rays, as well as restorative treatment such as fillings.
Dental insurance won’t usually cover you for treatment which has been identified as necessary by a dentist before you joined. It’s important to know what your policy does and does not cover before joining.
With our dental cover, you’ll be able to see a dentist when you need to without worrying about the cost. Our dental cover is designed to help you maintain a healthy smile, and help to ease the financial concerns of dental treatment.
We offer Core and Premium cover. Our Core cover level covers the cost of NHS treatment, while our Premium cover level offers money back towards private and NHS treatment.
With two choices of cover levels to help flex to your budget and individual needs, our dental cover is something to smile about.
You’ll be covered for routine dental treatments (such as check-ups, dental x-rays and hygiene treatments).
You’ll be covered for restorative treatments (such as fillings, crowns, and dentures).
You’ll be covered should you suffer a dental accident or emergency, at home or abroad.
You can choose to include your partner on either of our plans. As NHS dental treatment is free for under 18s, you can't add your children to Core cover, but you can add them to our Premium plan.
Using your dental health insurance is simple.
At AXA Health, we like to keep things simple for our members. We don’t make you answer any difficult medical questions when you join. And, we’ll make it easy to manage your costs with affordable monthly subscriptions.
This Core dental cover means you can get a range of treatment on the NHS, without having to worry about the cost (subject to the terms of your plan). You can have routine check-ups, hygiene treatments as well as more complex treatment such as crowns, fillings and bridges.
*Available after being a member for one month.
These are the main exclusions and limitations of cover (you can find a full list in the membership handbook).
Our Premium cover means you can get a range of treatment privately, or on the NHS, without having to worry about the cost. That includes things like routine check-ups and hygiene appointments, as well as more complex treatment such as crowns, filings and bridges.
These are the main exclusions and limitations of cover (you can find a full list in the membership handbook).
